How To Participate
Register & Submit Audition
- Register online for free.
- Share your talent and the cause you’re passionate about.
VIRTUAL AUDITIONS
Upload a performance video on YouTube or Instagram (not more than 90 seconds).
Send the video link to the Storm community page on Telegram.
Await virtual audition results from our online judges.
Selection Process
40 contestants will be selected based on votes from our voting platform on our site. The traffic your video drives online via likes, comments, and shares will also influence the selection process.
An additional 10 contestants who did not get enough votes but were deemed talented by our special online judges will receive a Mercy Pass (MP) card, recognizing their raw talent.
ENGAGE & ADVOCATE
There will be a 2 weeks interval for contestants to engage with the community and advocate for their cause through outreach events.
JUDGING AND FINAL SELECTION (26th Oct 2024 )
10-15 finalists will be selected based on talent and cause impact to compete in the final round and winner announcement event.

Important Update
Hello, Great Minds!
Update for Contestants: Important Changes to Virtual Auditions and Submission Deadline
In response to valuable feedback from the general public and our registered contestants, we have decided to reschedule the virtual auditions to October 28th. This change will allow contestants more time to adequately prepare, and also ensure that our newly registered participants can fully understand the competition rules. Accordingly, the registration portal will remain open for a short extension.
To all registered contestants, please use this time wisely to work on recording your entry videos to the highest standard. Make sure you are fully registered and actively following all our social media platforms, as this will be required as part of the process.
Here are the details for submitting your videos:
– On October 28th, at exactly 3:00 PM (Lagos, Nigeria time), upload your videos to both Facebook and Instagram.
– On Facebook, tag @Storm: Talent for a Cause.
– On Instagram, collaborate with @StormAuditions.
– After uploading, please forward the links to your videos in the Storm community group on WhatsApp, ensuring easy access for our judges to review.
The voting portal will also open on our website October 28th, and both virtual auditions and voting will run simultaneously for 10 days. Please ensure all content complies with the community standards and guidelines of each platform.
