Kogi, Nigeria – March 2025 – The “I CAN” Gospel Talent Hunt, an annual faith-based talent competition organized by the God in I Talent Ministry, successfully wrapped up its 2025 edition, inspiring young creatives to use their gifts for God’s glory. This year’s event was further strengthened through a collaboration with STORM Talent for a Cause, an initiative dedicated to merging entertainment with social impact established by The All Talented Christians’ ministry global.

The “I CAN” Gospel Talent Hunt has long been committed to discovering, nurturing, and celebrating gospel talent across various creative expressions, including music, spoken word, dance, and instrumental performances. Founded on the belief that every gift should be used to glorify God, the competition provides a stage for young Christians to grow, not just in skill but also in faith and purpose.
Empowering Gospel Talent with Purpose

Since its inception, the God in I Talent Ministry has remained focused on raising a generation of gospel creatives who understand that their talents are a calling rather than just a career. Through mentorship, competitions, and talent development programs, “I CAN” continues to equip young artists with both the confidence and the spiritual foundation needed to thrive in the gospel entertainment space.
“Our goal has always been to help young people see their gifts as a ministry,” said Minst. Gloria Ejura, the visionary behind the God in I Talent Ministry. “Many times, gospel artists struggle to find a platform where they are encouraged to remain true to their faith while growing in excellence. ‘I CAN’ exists to bridge that gap.”

The competition is known for being more than just a talent show—it is a life-changing experience for many contestants. Beyond their performances, participants engage in prayer sessions, mentorship discussions, and spiritual growth exercises, reinforcing the idea that gospel entertainment is first and foremost a means of worship.
A Platform for Rising Stars
The 2025 edition saw incredible displays of talent, with contestants pouring their hearts into their performances. After weeks of intense competition, the grand finale crowned the top three winners:
🥇 Tommy Prestige (₦300,000) – A dancer whose expressive, spirit-led performance captivated the audience.
🥈 Lizzy Sax (₦200,000) – An instrumentalist who delivered a performance filled with depth and anointing.
🥉 Tom Susan (₦100,000) – A singer whose vocal artistry and unique style stood out among the finalists.
While these three emerged as winners, every contestant left the competition with valuable experiences, industry exposure, and a renewed sense of calling in their craft.

The Role of STORM Talent for a Cause
This year’s competition was supported by STORM Talent for a Cause, a platform that seeks to uplift young creatives while encouraging them to use their gifts to drive meaningful change. The partnership helped broaden the competition’s reach and provided contestants with additional opportunities for exposure and development.
Exciting Opportunities for Contestants
This year’s edition opened doors for the contestants to take their artistry to greater heights. In a special highlight, 11 contestants from “I CAN” were awarded a direct pass to the semi-finals of the STORM Talent Discovery Show Season 2, set to take place in Abuja this summer.
These 11 selected contestants will join other hopefuls from across the country to compete for the ultimate prize, gaining even greater exposure and development opportunities in the process.
This exciting opportunity gives these rising stars a chance to further develop their craft on a larger stage while continuing to use their gifts for impact.

STORM Talent for a Cause shared in the vision of “I CAN”, reinforcing the belief that talent should serve a higher purpose. Through this collaboration, contestants not only showcased their abilities but also learned how to align their artistry with their faith, making their performances more impactful beyond the stage.
